• iOS software may need be updated to the most recent version
  • Kidde app location services must be enabled to access Wi-Fi settings on the smartphone
  • Kidde app location services must be set to enable and access permissions
  • Kidde app location services must be set to “Always”. Kidde app settings can be found in settings page of iOS mobile.
Note: Please also verify the device is in provisioning mode (LED light ring will glow fading red).
If all conditions above are met and device is still unable to connect to the Kidde app, reset the wireless settings to enable provisioning mode on the alarm:

Press the button on your Smoke + Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Indoor Air Quality Monitor for about 8 seconds and you will hear 3 consecutive beeps. Upon release of the button, you should hear “Resetting Wireless Settings. Ready to connect, follow quick start instructions.” Your alarm is now factory reset. Refer to the User Guide on how to set up your Alarm.
