Prior to setup, please ensure your Wi-Fi connection is on the 2.4 GHz band.
Follow the steps listed below for best Wi-Fi enrollment results.
- Scan the QR code shown in STEP 1 of the Quick Start Guide. Install the Kidde app.
- Open the Kidde app. Create and log in to your account. Tap "Add a device." Select "Smoke + Carbon Monoxide Alarm with IAQ Monitor." Follow the in-app steps.
- Scan your unique QR code, shown in STEP 3 of the Quick Start Guide, or on the back of your alarm. Set up and connect your alarm to the app. This will include instructions about wiring and installation (or see sections 9, 10 and 11 of the User Guide).
- Complete setup by following the in-app steps.
