• Android software must be updated to OS releases > 10.0
  • Location services  must enabled to access Wi-Fi settings on the mobile phone.
  • Please check if location services are set to enable and access permissions are set to "Always". Location service settings are found in the settings page of the Android mobile.
Note: Please also verify the device is in provisioning mode (LED status on device should be RED Blinking state). Perform Reset wireless settings for enabling provisioning mode on device.

If all conditions above are met and device is still unable to connect to the Kidde app, Reset wireless settings to enable provisioning mode on device:

Press the button on your Smoke + Carbon Monoxide Alarm with smart features for about 8 seconds and you will hear 3 consecutive beeps. Upon release of the button, you should hear “Resetting Wireless Settings. Ready to connect, follow quick start instructions”. Your alarm is now factory reset. Refer to the user guide on how to set up your Alarm.
