• OS software must be updated to release > 13.0
  • Kidde app location services must be enabled to access Wi-Fi settings on the mobile phone.
  • Kidde app location services must be set to enable and access permissions.
  • Kidde app location services must be set to "Always". Kidde app settings can be found in settings page of iOS mobile.
Note: Please also verify the device is in provisioning mode (LED light ring will glow fading red).

If all conditions above are met and device is still unable to connect to the Kidde app, Reset wireless settings to enable provisioning mode on device:

Press the button on your Smoke + Carbon Monoxide Alarm with smart features for about 8 seconds and you will hear 3 consecutive beeps. Upon release of the button, you should hear “Resetting Wireless Settings. Ready to connect, follow quick start instructions”. Your alarm is now factory reset. Refer to the user guide on how to set up your Alarm.
