This is a fairly unusual occurrence, however it can occur.

Reasons:
  • Sometimes its a short term outage in the internet - the camera will automatically recover.
  • Sometimes its because of a serious outage on the internet side.
  • Sometimes its due to a bug in the Access Point, resetting your access point can help.
  • But its also possible that its a bug in the camera's firmware, especially if the firmware is not up to date.

If it occurs, then the simple recovery is to reset the camera.
